My journey into financial planning began with an unusual combination of studies. I graduated from Rutgers University, Camden Honors College, with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and an Associate's degree in Film Studies. That combination might seem unusual, but it taught me to think both analytically and creatively about problem-solving.
After graduation, I pursued my growing interest in finance and began my career with an investment firm in Philadelphia, where I quickly became one of the top junior representatives and helped contribute to the rapid growth of the office. While I was successful in Philadelphia, I realized I wanted more flexibility in my practice and the ability to truly put clients first without institutional constraints.
That's what drew me to join Plan ONE Financial Group, where I now serve as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. This alliance gave me the opportunity to grow as a professional and build a practice focused on full-service financial planning rather than just product sales. In addition to developing and maintaining client relationships, I'm responsible for the compliance and supervision of the firm as an OSJ Branch Manager, which means I help maintain the high standards our clients deserve.
My commitment to professional excellence shows through my credentials. I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, which requires ongoing continuing education and upholding the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility. I hold my Series 7, 6, 63, 65, 24, and 51 registrations and am an Investment Advisor Representative through OSAIC Wealth, Inc. These credentials represent my commitment to staying current on the best strategies and maintaining the fiduciary standard that puts our clients' interests first.
I currently live in Blackwood, New Jersey, with my wife and three children, who keep life interesting and remind me daily why financial planning matters so much for families. When I'm not working with clients, you'll likely find me cheering on Philadelphia sports teams, playing video and tabletop games with friends, or picking up my guitar. These hobbies all require strategy, patience, and the ability to think several moves ahead. Skills that serve me well when helping clients plan for their futures.
